Cabela’s Spring Great Outdoors Event

Come visit us at the Cabela’s Spring Great Outdoor Event on March 16 & 17th! You will be able meet the people who run the club, ask questions, and find out what we’re all about! We will have membership forms available if you are interested in joining. There will also be many other clubs and organizations attending. Cabela’s is sponsoring a chance to win an Outdoor Adventures shopping spree!

We hope to see you there!

Edit: To clarify, the Cabela’s Spring Great Outdoor Event is at Cabela’s and not our facility.

Indoor Regional Championships

This weekend (March 3rd, 2013) the 2013 Indoor Regional Championships will be held at Capital Region Archery Club. For those of you who are interested in attending check for details on their site: www.crarchery.ca

The Mother of All Shoots is also this weekend in Red Deer, because of this and Regionals falling on the same weekend there will be no junior classes on March 2nd, 2013.

Range Update

Greetings Members,

We are making a few changes to the layout of our indoor range this week. On club nights you will notice that the 30 and 40 yard butts are our old style non bag targets and the 10 yard butt is now located on the south side of the building.

For all our members who shoot arrows with glue on points please shoot on the old style butts at 20, 30 and 40 yards. Our new butts are like every other bag type target on the market and are extremely hard on glue on points and you will lose them in these targets. We will always keep the old style butts available for people who shoot glue on points.
